Grammys Reveal Artists Set To Perform At Next Month’s Ceremony

March 18, 2022 Share

Grammys are set to take place next month on April 3, and some of the biggest names in music will be performing on the night.

The Grammys will feature performances from Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo, who both lead the pack with seven nominations each. Lil Nas X, who is up for five awards, will also be performing, as will K-pop superstars BTS, who are up for Best Pop/Duo Performance for their song Butter.

Eilish returns as a performer for the second year running, kicking off a huge year where she is set to headline Glastonbury and Coachella, two of the biggest music festivals in the world.

BTS will be making their third appearance at the Grammys following their debut in 2020 where they played Old Town Road with Lil Nas X.

Elsewhere, six-time Grammy winner Brandi Carlile will also be taking to the stage, as will Jack Harlow, who is up for Best Melodic Rap Performance with fellow performer Lil Nas X for their track Industry baby.

40-year-old singer-songwriter Carlile is also up for five awards – Record Of The Year (Right On Time), Song Of The Year (Right On Time), Song Of The Year (A Beautiful Noise with Alicia Keys), Best Pop Solo Performance (Right On Time) and Best American Roots Performance (Same Devil).

Daily Show host Trevor Noah returns as host for the evening, having debuted at the 2021 ceremony.

Noah told CBS in December: “I said, ‘Let me think about it,’ then I was like, ‘Why would I not want to do the Grammys?’ First of all, it’s a front-row ticket to the best music concert of all time. I don’t care who you are, you love music.”

“And then I realised how important it is for me on the night,” he added. “As the host, I serve so many purposes. If I’m not there, who lifts Kevin Hart into his seat? There are important things I’m supposed to be doing on that night. I give Jay-Z emotional support; he’s very nervous. I just tell him, ‘It’s gonna be ok, Jay. You’re breaking a record, you’re beating Quincy Jones in nominations.’ I’m there to give people moral support.”
