On Tuesday (May 24), Harris shared a TikTok video of himself working on the song and Lipa agreeing to add her vocals to the track.

The clip shows Harris playing keyboard, guitar and bass – offering his fans an inside look into how he assembled the instrumentals for the track. He even shows himself on FaceTime with Lipa, who agrees to give her vocals to the track.

Also, in a small snippet of the clip, Lipa can be heard singing, “Late night conversations, electric emotions / sprinkled with a little bit of sex / and that’s a potion.”

Writing on Twitter, the DJ and producer shared an image of the album’s title on a billboard along with the caption, “Summer ’22”.

Calvin Harris’s new album Funk Wav Bounces Vol 2. will arrive this summer.

This album will be the followup to his last album Funk Wav Bounces Vol 1. – which featured collaborators including Frank Ocean, Migos, Young Thug, Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj.

Earlier this year, Harris shared a new track called ‘Lonely’, under his Love Regenerator identity. On this track, he collaborated with Riva Starr and Sananda Maitreya. It is the latest in a group of tracks he has released since launching the new music project Love Regenerator in January 2020.

Meanwhile, Lipa has been pretty busy the last couple of years, especially during the pandemic. She said in a statement: “When the pandemic happened, and everyone was worried about whether we should release the album, I was just like, F*** it, maybe it’s just what we need.

“While everyone’s at home, maybe this is the album we should be putting out. It was scary because you had no idea how long we were going to be in this pandemic. Everything was a big question mark. But I had a sense that we just had to do it.”

She is currently on her Future Nostalgia world tour. After recent headline runs in the US, the UK and Europe, she will play gigs in Australia and New Zealand later this year. She also makes appearances at festivals like Lollapalooza, Sziget, Roskilde and Primavera Sound.
