One of the star performers, Jennifer Lopez, has already been announced as the recipient of this year’s Icon Award, with the 52-year-old honoured recognised for “her impact on pop culture, longevity and continued relevance as a touring and radio force,” according to a press release.

The ninth edition of the ceremony announced its nominees in January, and those in with multiple chances to win on the night include Adele, Dua Lipa, Daniel Caeser, The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber, Cardi B, Lil Nas X, BTS, Doja Cat and many more.

The biggest awards include best new artist and album of the year in nine different music genres, while there are also several fan-voted categories, including Best Fan Army, Best Lyrics, Best Cover Song, Best Music Video, the Social Star Award, Favorite Tour Photographer, TikTok Bop of the Year, and the first-ever TikTok Songwriter of the Year and Best Comeback Album.

Last year’s winners included The Weeknd for Best Male Artist and Song of the Year, while Dua Lipa took home Best Female Artist.
